I replaced the ribbon in my typewriter and proceeded to write a follow up letter to the last one I wrote. It went well. She said thanks. And that's where that romance will probably end.
The last few weeks have been tough. I've over committed myself (again) and I'm feeling the consequences. Mostly, I haven't allowed for any time to myself and I'm forced to take it when I can get it which, inevitably, leads to hurting my friends feelings. Luckily, the show I'm designing lights for is nearly open and after that I'll have my evenings back. I hope that once I actually have time to do homework again I'll feel better about being here. I've been questioning whether or not this school is right for me, or whether or not school in general is right for me. I love a lot of the people here, but there's a lot I don't like about the institution in general, and the population here at large.
On a more positive note, I'm officially starting my radio show, North Star Music, tonight. I know, horrible name, but it's devoted to music by Minnesota artists. I'm excited about getting it underway. Stream it online here every Sunday night from 11-12. Requests will be honored (provided I have access to the tune you want to hear).
I want to go for a long walk.
